Description

Come along and learn how to make a simple  woodworking  project?

Join me at the Paparwark Furniture workshop and learn how to make your own wooden Gin rack.  Gin has become a very popular tipple and this rack is a great way to display your favourite drinks and to hold the glasses as well.

In this class you will learn an interesting mix of machine and traditional hand tool techniques and will be shown various methods to accurately make a simple woodwork project by hand.  You will also be able to adapt parts of the design to your choosing so that your Gin rack is unique and can include carved and shaped details to you own design.

The class will involve the use of planes, saws, chisels and other hand tools and you will be shown various woodwork joints and methods.  We have tools for everyone but if you have your own tools and would like to take them along, please do so and we can give you advice on sharping and maintenance.
