Description
The Peat ingrained candle holders are made from ash. The unusual geometrical shape is produce on a bandsaw and then finished with a smoothing plane. This timber has an open grain that we use to our advantage, rubbing in local Shetland peat to enhance the grain pattern. The timber is then re sanded and oiled which brings out the beautiful colour of the ash and fixes the peat into the timber.
These candle holders are stylish and modern with a little piece of Shetland in every one!
