Description
This shawl pin and brooch was first developed and made over a facebook live event during Shetland wool week 2020. Several people had suggested that a sheepshead would be a great idea for a brooch and the festival is all about celebrating our native sheep and the quality wool which they produce. I thought it would be a good challenge to design something new at the event and I was very happy with the result.
These are hand-made using whittling knives, gouges and other hand tools.
